What is the SelectBraces Certificate of Excellence?
Founded in 2015, the Certificate of Excellence honors orthodontists who deliver consistently great service. This designation is given to practices that have consistently achieved great patient reviews on SelectBraces over the past year. Practices earning the Certificate of Excellence are located all over North America and have continually delivered a superior patient experience.
Who is eligible to receive a Certificate of Excellence from SelectBraces?
Orthodontic Specialists worldwide are eligible to receive a Certificate of Excellence.
How are Certificate of Excellence recipients determined?
To determine Certificate of Excellence recipients we use a variety of user-generated content. This includes review ratings, overall rating and quantity and recency of reviews. To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, an orthodontic practice must:
- Maintain an overall SelectBraces rating of at least four out of five
- Have a minimum number of reviews
- Have been listed on SelectBraces for at least twelve months
Do commercial relationships with SelectBraces influence Certificate of Excellence?
No, Certificate of Excellence recipients are determined by patients through their ratings and reviews on SelectBraces. Whether or not an orthodontist has a commercial relationship with SelectBraces, such as an orthodontist with a paid Listings subscription, is not a factor when determining recipients.
What benefits do Certificate of Excellence practices receive?
Certificate of Excellence recipients will receive an email notification on May 25th. All recipients are encouraged to request a printed certificate and a window sticker announcing their designation (perfect for enticing the 75% of SelectBraces users who are more likely to patronize a practice displaying a SelectBraces endorsement ).
Recipients will also automatically receive a Certificate of Excellence badge on their property page on SelectBraces.com, as well as access to an exclusive Certificate of Excellence widget and other promotional tools and tips in the SelectBraces Management Center.

How do I request a printed Certificate of Excellence?
It’s easy to request a printed certificate from this year or past years. Here’s how:

- Click Contact Us
- Enter your profile name, mailing address to send the certificate, phone and email address.
- Click on the Send Message button on the bottom of the page.
Follow the directions above and you’ll receive your Certificate of Excellence in the mail within 8 weeks.
