Dr. Kimbrough was born in South Carolina in 1943. His father was stationed in Charleston, where he built destroyers for the Navy during World War II. Dr. Kimbrough has twin younger brothers, Richard and Robert. Richard is an ophthalmologist in Houston, and Robert owns a ship supply company at the Houston Ship Channel.
Dr. Kimbrough graduated from high school in Midland, TX and received a degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX. He attended Baylor Dental Branch in Dallas, and spent two additional years in Orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Dental School in Houston. In between all of this he served two years in the Army. Quite a busy guy!
Dr. Kimbrough is happily married to his wife Carole, a local store owner in Kingwood. They have one son, Austin, and two granddaughters. Dr. Kimbrough is an avid outdoorsman. He loves hunting, fishing and gardening.
